Went to the VPW for Martin Prihoda’s “Big Lights Far Away” presentation.
Was pretty awesome. I learnt a lot about the business of photography.
The images he took for ChildRelief International was what really got me tho.
Here is his blog and link!!!
I’ll put up polaroids that I took after the workshop!!
1) New CAMERAS!
So i sold my old Bessa R and bought a new Bessa T. It’s M-mount so now i can use my M-mount lenses on FILM! WHOO HOO!
Other than that, the other day, I just pick up a new Polaroid Spectra off Craigslist for a couple of bux. I can’t wait to run some PZ-680 Color Shade through that one.
2) New GEARS!
New addition to get more film going. A new EPSON V300 Flat bed scanner. Now i can scan my own negatives!
More to come!!!
To me, every aspiring street photographer should start out on film. Film forces one to be cautionary in their approach to photography. Film forces one to focus, to compose.
